Increased Pressures Against Women Political Prisoners
In recent days, out of 61 women political-prisoners of Evin Prison, 13 women have been deprived of the right to make phone calls by the orders of security-judicial authorities.
Among the 61 women political-prisoners of Evin Prison:
4 women are over seventy years old.
10 women are over sixty years old.
Among the 61 women political-prisoners of Evin Prison:
3 women are suffering from incurable diseases such as lupus, Parkinson, cerebral stroke, brain tumor.
2 women have a history of cancer.
4 women are suffering from acute bone and joint diseases.
7 women have heart diseases.
Among the 61 political-prisoners of Evin Prison:
19 female prisoners are under temporary detention, without a final verdict and in uncertainty. Some of them face heavy charges. Out of the 19 women, 5 have been in temporary detention for more than a year. (Parvin Miraslan, Argavan Fallahi, Farahnaz Nikkhoo, Elahe Mohammadi, and Niloufar Hamedi)
